With two long 9763' and 10000' runways and airline traffic, expect to get some vectoring for sequencing with approach, but they mix general aviation flights in well. Mixing in with the local A-10 squadron is also fun. Expect right traffic patterns on 28R and 10R, normal left traffic on 10L and 28R, while vectors to straight-in approaches are common.
Full and self-serve 100LL are available at Western Aircraft, Jackson Jet Center and Turbo Air.
Rental cars are available from Avis, with pickup and drop off from Western Aircraft.
Boise is a great food town. Two restaurants we enjoyed are Fork and Barbacoa.
Extensive lodging is available throughout the Boise area. We enjoyed the Boise Courtyard.
Boise is a great town for outdoor activities, hiking, and mountain sports.
