Pattern/Approach

From the north or south, normal entry to the pattern is on a 45 degree entry to the prevailing runway from the west side of the field. Fly a standard left pattern for runway 33R, right pattern for runway 15L. Pattern altitude is 1006' MSL. Be alert for traffic transiting north and south, while avoiding the Class D airspace around Paine Field. Since Harvey Field is an active skydiving drop zone, monitor 123.0 and be alert for skydiving activity over the field.

Parking and Fueling

Visitor parking slots are east of the runway, on the grass area west of the main hangars. Self service 100LL is available courtesy of Snohomish Flying Service.

Transportion

Downtown Snohomish is within easy walking distance of the airport.

Dining

The Buzz Inn Steak House on the airfield has a full menu, featuring steaks, burgers and sandwiches. With a short walk into town, Andy's Fish House has taken over the former Chuck's Seafood Grotto, with a great selection of seafood dishes.

Lodging

We haven't stayed in Snohomish overnight, since it's close to home, but the Snohomish Inn is convenient.

To-Do

The airport is within walking distance of downtown Snohomish, a city with historic character and many antique and specialty shops, great seafood and Mexican restaurants, several Art Galleries and a river walk trail through the historic downtown district.
