If arriving from the north, the easiest entry is via the Special Flight Rules corridor through LAX, then by talking to Long Beach tower en route to the KFI tower landmark, for a right downwind entry for runway 24.
As an alternative to Long Beach, Fullerton offers much cheaper tiedown rates and lower gas prices, with excellent services provided by the General Aviation FBO, with a convenient self-service island adjacent to the FBO.
