The Half Moon Bay airport often gets socked in due to the persistent marine layer, so be prepared to be stuck for awhile. If arriving from the north SF Bay area, expect a right downwind over the hills to runway 30.
The terminal/restaurant/fuel are mid-field where there is plenty of parking. There is a lot of additional parking at the approach end of 30.
Locals for transportation...
The Pilot Light Cafe is located mid-field, serving breakfast and lunch. If you depart the airport at the approach end of 30, you are in the parking lot of Mezza Luna, a great Italian restaurant that is on the edge of town, Princeton-By-The-Sea. Seafood dining is available at Sam's Chowder House, a mile southeast of the airport.
