In 2015, we flew in using the well-orchestrated Ripon/Fisk VFR arrival procedure, landing on the Blue Dot in the center of runway 27. In 2019, I flew as #3 in a 5-ship of Cascade Warbirds, using the Warbird arrival to runway 27.
Basler Flight Service provides excellent fuel support throughout the Oshkosh environment.
All major car rental agencies are available at Oshkosh.
Most dining has been onsite at EAA AirVenture, but we enjoyed a good Italian dinner at Benvenuto's Italian Grill. Many dining options are available in Oshkosh.
We used Oshkosh group lodging in a private home in 2015 and 2019.
It's the land of EAA AirVenture!
