Situated in the broad valley region in northern Oregon, approach into Salem is very easy, with standard left patterns on all runways. For arrivals from the north, tower often offers right patterns for runways 31 and 34.
Transient parking is available on the ramp on the west side of the field, self-service fuel pumps are near the FBO and Flight Deck restaurant.
Salem Air Center can coordinate rental cars.
The Flight Deck Restaurant is located on the west side of the airport next to the FBO, with an excellent menu selection and great views of the airport operations.

We've only stopped for airport dining, and also for nearby Costco gas when driving.
