Fly a standard left pattern for runway 17, right pattern for runway 35. Straight-ins are often available directly from the north, traffic permitting. Pattern altitude is 1294' MSL (1000' AGL). Be alert for deer in the vicinity.
Visitor parking slots are located in front of the Hub Restaurant, at the base of the tower. 100LL is available from PAVCO and Skyport Aviation.
Hertz and Enterprise rental cars are available through PAVCO, with GO rental cars available through Skyport Aviation.
The Hub on the airfield has a full menu, featuring salmon, steelhead or rockfish sandwiches, pizzas and micro brew beers (for the non-flying crew).
We haven't stayed in Tacoma overnight, since it's close to home.
We've only used Tacoma Narrows for a lunch or dinner stop off, but Tacoma Narrows does provide convenient access to Gig Harbor and the south Puget Sound area.
