Allentown Approach is useful to provide clearance around the nearby Lehigh Valley International airport (KABE). We have used runway 25 for landing from a downwind entry from the west, and also for a direct arrival from the northeast. Departures have used 25 and 33, depending on winds.
Parking is available through the Lehigh Valley Aviation Services FBO. No overnight parking fee with a fuel purchase, only full service fuel is available.
We used family transportation, but Enterprise cars are available through the Lehigh Valley Aviation Services FBO.
The 1760 Pub in nearby Trexlertown has an extensive menu, with pierogis available on the menu.
We stay with family in the Allentown area.
