The airport is nestled close to the foothills of the Olympic Mountains and is hard to locate until very near the airport. There is no weather reporting at the field, with Quillayute providing the closest weather reporting, 7 miles to the west. The best option is to overfly the field and check the windsock for current conditions, and expect squirrelly winds and turbulence on final.
Ample parking on the central ramp, no fuel available on the field.

BBG Blakeslee Bar & Grill is located just off the north end of the runway, with good elk burgers and other bar fare.
