Pattern/Approach

Crest Airfield has a standard left pattern on runways 15 and 33. Be alert for tall trees just to the right of the approach on runway 33. Pattern altitude is 1472' MSL (1000' AGL). For night operations, runway 15 use is preferred, wind and weather permitting. Crest Airfield was renamed on 19 Mar 2026 by the Flying Homeowners Association from the previous 'Norm Grier Airfield', back to the original Crest Airfield designation.
